27 Nov Graduation Exhibition Fotoacademie
5 years ago I made a huge decision to quit the corporate FMGC business (after 12 years) and I started studying at the Fotoacademie in Amsterdam. Photography has taught me so much. It has been quite a journey and I realize now how important it is to follow your dreams. The experience and new skills have changed me, both professionally and personally. Dedication and working hard is key to who I am as a person and photographer. In April I started working on a photo series documenting refugee family reunifications. With my project (still in progress) I would like to show that refugees are people, real men, women, children, fathers, mothers, sons and daughters, like you and me. We are all connected.
